+ Death Takes Area Woman WENDELL — Mrs. Lavina Okey Anderson, 73, died Wednesday morning at Magic Valley Manor where she had been a patient for more than three years. She was born Nov. 22, 1892, at Alpine, Utah, and attended school there. On April 9, 1917, she was married to Elmer Anderson in Salt Lake City. They moved to Hagerman in 1918 and Mrs. Anderson worked there until retiring in 1955. They came to Wendell at that time. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the LDS Church and while at Hagerman served as president of the MIA, and was a teacher in othe Relief Society, Sunday school and Primary. Survivors include her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Lucille) Palmer, Shoshone; Mrs. D. A. (Edna) Brown and Mrs. Roy (Mary) MeHargue, both Wendell, and Mrs. Calvin (Thelma) Kysar, Kimberly; one son, Jack Anderson, Cambridge; one brother, Harvey Okey, Lehi, Utah; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
