From "The Aurora Sun", Aurora, Nebraska dated Saturday, November 24m 1900, Page 8: Obituary. McDougal – Nora May McDougal, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. McDougal; she was born Nov. 4th, 1881, died Nov. 21st, 1900, aged 19 years and 17 days. Her health had been poor for a number of years; she endued her affiction with much patience, and near the close of life said it is getting brighter. A father, stepmother, five sisters, two brothers, and other relatives are left to mourn her loss. The funeral services were held at the home conducted by A. L. Zimmerman. The remains were interred in the Aurora cemetery.
