Graveside services for Bessie Mae Speer, 72, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Idalou Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Winn, a Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be under direction of Sanders Funeral Home. She died Saturday, March 7, 1998, in University Manor. She was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Becton. She was a Baptist. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Ann Meadows of Lubbock; a son, Joe of Big Spring; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
