Cyrus William Thomas Danbury- Cyrus William Thomas 100 a resident of the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oberlin, Ks died Feb 9th 1988. He was born southeast of Danbury on August 9, 1887. He was born to John and Esther Van Vleet Thomas. Cyrus was married to Ruth L Baker on April 1, 1920. She Preceded him in death in 1948. Survivors include one son Malcom Thomas of Bartley; a daughter Nancy Mortimore of Stockville; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. one sister Nellie Haag of Danbury. Funeral Services are scheduled for the Danbury Funeral Home at 10:30 am Friday feb 12th with the Rev Gary Waguespack Officiating with Lockenour Mortuary in Charge of arrangements. Memorial may be addressed to the Decatur County Good Samaritan Home.
