Thanks to contributor #48796369 Dorothy Lentz, 70, of Norton, Kan., formerly of Harvard and Stockham, died Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at the Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin, Kan. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Enfield Funeral Home in Norton. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery at Kensington, Kan. Mrs. Lentz was born on Aug. 16, 1928, at Harvard to John and Mary (Roth) Feurstein. She grew up in Harvard and attended schools in Stockham. She married Kenneth Dean Lentz on Aug. 18, 1946, in Kensington, Kan. They lived in Costa Mesa, Orange and San Jose, Calif., before they retired and moved to Norton, Kan. Mr. Lentz died on July 18, 1981. Mrs. Lentz had been a member of the Community Church in Harvard and the Harbor Baptist Church in Costa Mesa. Survivors include three sons, Ralph of San Jose, Calif., Rex "Shorty" of Almena, Kan., and John of McClery, Wash.; two daughters, Sandy (Mrs. Woody) Woodruff of Carlsbad, Calif., and Debbie (Mrs. Frank) Sherman of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Carlson of Columbus and Arlene VanWormer of Aurora; and a special friend, Floyd Edgett of Oberlin, Kan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Feurstein. The Grand Island Independent, Oct. 27, 1998
