Bessie Lou Bills November 19, 1912 - September 27, 2013 Mrs. Bills was born November 19, 1912 in Commerce, Texas to Thomas Mathew and Mary Ross Blundell. She married R.V. Bills in Hugo, Oklahoma on December 27, 1932. Background: Mrs. Bills and her husband worked on their own farm for many years in the Sunnyside Community. They also lived in Dimmitt and Earth. She enjoyed raising a garden and canning, as well as, crafts, crocheting and painting. Through the years, Mrs. Bills was very active in her church, doing whatever was needed and teaching Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.V. Bills, her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors: Sons, Richard Bills, of Dimmitt, Texas; and Larry Bills, of Georgetown, Texas; sister, Marie Kimbel, of Dallas, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. Memorials: Running Water Draw Nursing Home, 800 W 13th Street, Olton, Texas, 79064, and Sandhills Village Assisted Living, PO box 767, Olton, Texas, 79064.
