Bio

Son of Floyd & Roberta (Cook) STewart. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at Fort Ord in California in 1972 and served in the CDEC. After the service, he graduated from Monterey Peninsula College in California in 1975. He re-enlisted in 1976 and served in Korea as a reporter and editor of the Army News, receiving many awards. He remained in Korea and taught English at Myung Gi University. He was also a partner in a marketing company in Korea. He returned to Nebraska in 1979 before moving to Oakland, Calif., where he studied art. He then moved to Boston until returning to Nebraska in 1992. He moved to Los Angeles in 1993 and taught English at Poly Technical School in Pasadena until 1997, when ill health caused him to retire.
