Bio

This is my 3rd gr grandmother. She was the mother of: Mary Ann Rose; Alfred Alexander Rose; Rebecca Elizabeth Rose; Rhoda Ann Rose; William Jefferson Rose; Burtus S. Rose; Samuel A. B. Rose (and possibly others) My 2nd gr grandmother was Rhoda Ann Rose Smith. She was married to John Pinkney Smith. John and Rhoda had a son Bennett Martin who married Mary Caroline McCafferty. They had a daughter Lura Ann Smith who married my grandaddy Edd Harrison Carter. Lura and Edd were my daddy, J.D. Carter's parents.
