HALTOM CITY -- Lillie Faye Duncan, 74, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel with James D. Payne officiating. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: After the services, a reception will be held in the Birdville Baptist Church B.D.U. room. Faye was born July 18, 1930, in Kress and was raised in Blue Ridge. She retired from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She loved her church and helping others when she could. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. Survivors: Husband of 33 years, Bill Duncan; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Duncan and wife, Chon Suk, of Fort Worth and Randy Duncan and wife, Pamela, of Benbrook; daughter, Sherry Duncan of Crowley; grandchildren, Andrea Safford, Marcey Decker, Keith Duncan, Amy Ross, Christina Duncan, John Duncan and Joshua Duncan; great-granddaughter, Ruby Ross; brother, Jim Montgomery of Duncanville; sister, Irene Werly of Lone Star; aunt, Aumon Squires; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
