Bio

Ruth Mobley Cave, born January 23, 1928 in McKinney, Texas to Thomas Byron & Lula May Mobley, passed away September 14, 2013. Baptized at North Baptist Church of McKinney, she belonged to Lakeside Baptist Church since 1966. Ruth was a homemaker while her children were small, following her husband's career to AR and GA, then back to Dallas. Then she managed the children's department of Joske's Town East for many years, retiring in 1988. She belonged to the Atlasta Book Club and was particularly proud of her volunteer service at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters and her husband, George Weldon Cave. Survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Jane and Bill Sadek of Dallas and Susan and Larry Kennedy of Garland, and a number of nieces and nephews of the Cave and Mobley families. Visitation Tuesday 6-8 pm at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home. Funeral Service 1 pm Wednesday, September 18 at Lakeside Baptist Church, Rev. Larry NeGron officiating.
