ARLINGTON – Danny Kocian, 56, a landscaper, died Friday, July 27, 2001, in Arlington. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral home Chapel. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens Visitation: 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Danny Kocian was born Oct. 27, 1944, in Penelope. Survivors: Wife of 31 years, Nora Kocian; son, Brian Burk; daughter, Renee Sutterfield and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Joe and David Kocian; sisters, Diane Jupe and Eileen Janek; and grandchildren, Tiffanie and Danny Sutterfield. Davis Chapel, Arlington Fort Worth Star-Telegram – July 30, 2001 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Danny Charles Kocian, age 56 of Arlington, formerly of Penelope, passed away July 27, 2001 at his home in Arlington, after a very long and courageous battle with Lou Gehrigs Disease (ALS). Funeral service was held at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial followed at Moore Memorial Park in Arlington. Danny is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nora Kocian; one daughter, Renee Sutterfield and her husband Ronnie of Arlington; one son, Brian Burk of Arlington; two grandchildren, Tiffany Sutterfield and Danny Sutterfield, both of Arlington; two brothers, Ervin Kocian of Midlothian and David Kocian and wife Helen of Gerald; two sisters, Diane Jupe and husband Kerin of West and Eileen Jares and husband David of West; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Danny will be missed by all who knew him. He was one of the bravest people you could ever meet. We, his family, will miss his bear hugs and smile.
