Norbert Andrew Duff Obituary Mr. Norbert Andrew Duff -- Born May 21, 1916. A lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, October 10, 2005 at the Sacred Heart Residence of the Little Sisters of the Poor. Norbert was a machinist at Brookley Air Force Base and retired from the civil service in 1975. He Proudly served in the State Guard and the U. S. Marine Corps. Norbert was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Florence Conway Duff; and two sons, Norbert Duff, Jr. and Baby Duff. He was the son of the late Robert Lee Duff and Mary Bridget McKnight Duff. Norbert is survived by eight children, twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and his many friends and extended family at the Little Sisters of the Poor. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A. M. on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 from the chapel of the Sacred Heart Residence of the Little Sisters of the Poor. Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Residence of the Little Sisters of the Poor. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36604. Interment will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, Bayou La Batre, AL. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, Alabama 36606.
