John L. Frederick __________________ John L. Frederick, 86, 1312 Perry St. died Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital following a brief illness. He was born Oct. 17, 1982 in Knox County, the son of Daniel and Anna (Otten) Frederick. A retired self-employed truck driver, he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the American Legion and Disabled Veterans Chapter 10. Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Flossie Mae (Mag); a son John C. Frederick, Vincennes; a daughter, Mrs. Lee (Ann) Gray, Vincennes; a brother, Hank Smith, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Claude (Nellie) Evans, Vincennes, eight grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Duesterberg Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
