Brenda Stephens, 10-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stephens of LaSara, died late Monday night in the Valley Baptist hospital following a long illness. . Survivors, in addition to her parents, include four sisters, Myrna, Maggie, Karolyn and Nancy Lou Stephens; four brothers, William A., A. J., Casey and Joe Ed Stephens, all of LaSara; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. [(sic) W. A.] Stephens of Mt. Vernon, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Switzer of Santa Anna, Tex. . Services will be conducted in the Kreidler-Ashcraft chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. John Wilder, pastor of Calvary Baptist church, officiating. . Burial will be in the Weslaco cemetery. .
