Bio

John Svoboda died at the home of his son John Tuesday, April 18, after a prolonged illness, having been bed fast for the past year. He had reached the ripe old age of eighty years, and the past twenty-nine of his life were spent in Howard county. He raised seven children, six-boys and one girl, all of whom are living. The funeral was held Thursday, the remains being interred in the cemetery west of town beside the remains of his wife, who died some five years ago-.
