Bio

Charles is the son of Ferdinand & Caroline (Hoppe) Schuelke. _____ Charles A. Schuelke, 69, a resident of the Greenwood vicinity for sixty-two years, died at his home, four miles south of Greenwood, at 1:10 o'clock Wednesday morning. Born in Germany, Mr. Schuelke came to the United States when he was seven years old, and settled on a farm with his parents near Greenwood, and had lived there since. He is survived by: his wife, Mary; four daughters: Mrs. Paul Buckingham of Greenwood; Mrs. Warren Rogers, and Mrs. Dave Parrott, both of Ashland; and Miss Irene, at home; three sons: Ervin, Edward, both of Alvo; and Virgil, at home; one brother, Richard, of Alvo; and six grandchildren. - The Lincoln Star, Lincoln, Nebraska; Wednesday, 16 December, 1936; page 2.
