The York Daily News Times Nov. 11, 1958 Pearl Haberman Dies at Age 53 Mrs. Pearl Haberman, 53, wife of Henry J. Haberman, 14th and Platte, died at York General Hospital Monday afternoon at one o'clock. In failing health several years, Mrs. Haberman had been seriously ill the past six weeks. Mrs. Haberman was born Feb. 22, 1905 at Atoka, OK. She has been a resident of York the past forty years. Surviving are her husband, a son, Jack L. Miller, Loup City; her mother, Mrs. Mattie Cartwright, York; two sisters, Mrs.Ivan Hiett and Mrs.Herman Fuller, York; three half brothers, Owen Cartwright, Geneva; Ralph Cartwright and Redick Cartwright, York. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10;30 at the Church of the Nazarene, the Rev. C.D. Holley officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The body is at Metz Mortuary. Pearl's father was Willie M Hoggatt, he was born in Caney Kansas. He married Martha Hogan July 8, 1899 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma. Willie died between 1905-1907, his grave has not yet been found.
