Obituary: Rader Funeral Home Funeral services for Wilma Ruth Gibson Deaver, 89, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Today, at Longview Church of Christ with Robert Johnson officiating with burial following in Dollahite Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Deaver passed away Wednesday night at her home in Longview. Wilma was born on March 19, 1924 in Hallsville Texas to Jesse Edgar and Lillie Southerland Gibson. She was the loving wife and helpmate of a Gospel minister for over 60 years. She loved her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who took great pride in her family. She took care of the Biblical Notes Publications that her husband wrote for many years. She loved to travel in her younger years and loved being outdoors and working in the yard. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 66 years, Roy C. Deaver; her parents, and seven brothers. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons and their wives, Roy Hardeman Deaver and Wanda of Ft. Worth, Paul Mac Deaver and June of Sheffield, and Dan Deaver and Laura of Longview; her sister Virginia Gibson Starr of Longview; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
