Thanks contributor #48796369 Sally A. Beason, 67, of Grand Island, died April 21, 1998 at the St. Francis Medical Center of Grand Island. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 25, 1998 at 11:00 at the Grand Island Family Church with the Rev. Allen Runyon officiating. Burial was at 2:30 p.m. on April 25, 1998 at the Litchfield Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation was Friday, April 24 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 7-8 at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home. Sally A. Beason was born Dec. 14, 1930 to William and Aseneth (McAlevy) Craven at Litchfield. She grew up in Hazard and Loup City and received her education at Loup City. On Nov. 8, 1951 she married Donald Beason at Loup City. After which the couple farmed at Litchfield and then moved to Ventura, Calif., before returning to Grand Island in 1965 where they owned their own business, Financial Planning and Protection, and she served as office manager. She was a member of Grand Island Family Church, and she enjoyed antiques, garage sales, making crafts for friends and family, giving gifts to young children, cooking for her family, and would go to any measure to help someone in need. Survivors include her husband, Donald Beason of Grand Island; three sons, Rocke Beason of Grand Island, Rex Beason of Scottsdale, Ariz., Marty Beason of Grand Island; one daughter, Cindy Davis of Delta, Colo.; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; three brothers, Kenneth Craven of Grand Island, Larry Craven of Grand Island, Ron Craven of Rogersville, Mo.; two sisters, Wilma Howard of Davenport, Fla., and Patty Dangler of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Aseneth Mills.
