Bio

Ora was on duty as a cab driver near Watsonville when he was killed in a robbery attempt. A report of the incident was published on the front page of the Salinas Californian, Dec. 27, 1957. The perpetrator pleaded guilty to first-degree murder on Mar. 20, 1958 and was sentenced shortly thereafter to life imprisonment.
