Grace Marie Burke Jan 22,1911-Aug 22,2006 Grace Marie Burke, who resided in North Platte, passed away on Aug. 22, 2006. Grace''s parents were Herman Klumpe and Antonia Pohl Klumpe. Grace was born on the family farm in Hayes County on Jan. 22, 1911. She was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hayes County. Grace was a child of God. After graduating from St. Patrtick''s Catholic School in 1929 she met Herbert Charles Burke of Maxwell. They lived most of their lives in Bridgeport, where they were business owners. After retiring in 1953 they moved to their Wyoming ranch. Suvivors include Antonia Cogil of Ogallala, and Sandra Miller- James (David James) of North Platte; six grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Grace had many, many friends whom she treasured. Grace was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; sisters Arlene McHugh, Christine Lee and Anna Nitsch; brothers Henry Klumpe, Chris Klumpe and Manuel Klumpe; and great-grandchildren Jill Cogil and Kelly and Karen Miller. Services were Aug. 25 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Hayes County. The North Platte Bulletin Aug 30,2006
