Bio

Helen Roxie Dennis was raised in Oklahoma City, OK. At about age 20 her and a friend moved to Concord, CA as an adventure and to work in the friend's brother's soda shop. She met Melvin Curtis Burton at the soda shop in 1946. They were married in 1947 in Ventura, CA then made there home in various Bay Area towns then finally settled down in Concord, CA in 1955.
