OBITUARY FROM TUCKER FUNERAL HOME SACRAMENTO - Gail Cecil Lee, 70, of Sacramento, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:05AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Lee was born December 10, 1942 in Evansville, IN. He was an iron worker with Local 103 and a coal miner with Peabody Coal. He was a member of Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Army veteran. He also was a Kentucky Colonel, and loved to help farm, and hunting. He was preceded in death by his son, David Gail Lee; brother Ronnie Lee; and parents William Lee and Edith Hoagland. Survivors include his wife, Shelia Lee; daughters Desha Lee of Owensboro, Dana Monin of Owensboro, Susan (Rodney) Ball of Island, Beth (Kraig) Kassinger of Livermore, and Ashley Chambers of Sacramento; grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Kelsey, Katie, McKenzie, Presley, Heather, Dannie, Brooke, Sara, Zack, Nathan, and Reece; great-grandchildren Kaeli and Maizie; brothers Carl Lee and Kenny Lee; and two of his favorite companions, Chloe and Lexie. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:00PM at Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sacramento, with Rev. John Butler officiating. Burial in Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 11:00AM at Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
