The YUMA PIONEER Thursday, August 1928 Pioneer Resident of Joes Country Dies Mrs. Charles B. Sharp, long-time resident of Yuma County, died at the family home southeast of Joes, Wednesday of last week at the age of 74 years, eight months and 28 days. She was born in Olmstead, Ohio, October 3, 1853 and moved to Yuma County with her husband about 30 years ago. The couple celebrated the golden anniversary of their marriage seven years back. The deceased leaves her husband and a number of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to mourn her departure. Funeral Services were held at the family home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, Rev. R.B. Courtner, pastor of the Mount Olivet Church, officiating and the interment was at the Kirk Cemetery.
