Ella May Farrar WARSAW, Indiana — Ella May Farrar, 79, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 1999, in Warsaw, Indiana. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 22, 1999, at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Alta Lonaa, Texas, with the Rev. Leonard Robison, Pastor of Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow services Wednesday at the cemetery. A visitation hour has been set for Mrs. Farrar, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 1999, in the Memorial Room of Broadway Funeral Home, Galveston. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening after 5:00 p.m. Mrs. Farrar was born June 18,1920, and although in Sealy, Texas, has been a longtime resident of Galveston for well over 30 years until just recently when she relocated to Warsaw, Indiana, to be nearer to her family that she so dearly loved. In the memories of her family, she was a very loving person, a very kind and gentle lady. She gave unselfishly of herself to be the good mother and grandmother that she was. She was very much loved by her family and will be fondly remembered throughout their lives. Preceded in death by her husband, Otway Farrar and also one of her sons, Edmund Farrar, She leaves behind very cherished memories with her son, Gene Otway Farrar and wife, Lisa of Warsaw, Indiana; and her two loving granddaughters, Ashley and Madison Farrar also of Warsaw, Indiana. Also saddened by this loss is Mrs. Farrar's sister, Frances LaPointe of Terrell, Texas; and her two brothers, Roy Brosig of Sealy, Texas, and Bert Brosig of Houston, Texas. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, yet her memories and her good times shared with each of them will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
