Source: Death Certificate: ''''''''''''''''' The Billings Gazette, MT. 1/31/1937 Sunday Pge 5 Ballantine Man dies Saturday Frank Focher Succumbs to Pneumonia in Local Hospital Frank Focher, 73, Ballantine farming, died at a local hospital at 3:15 o'clock Saturday afternoon following a two week illness due to pneumonia. He had been at the hospital for six days. Born in Czechoslovakia on July 7, 1863. He came to the United States about 40 years ago. He lived at Pueblo, Co. and then to Oklahoma in 1903. Shortly after his marriage to Miss Rose Navratil, They came to Ballantine from Oklahoma in 1910. Besides his wife he is survived by six children, a brother Lorenz Focher of Worden, MT., a sister in Czechoslovakia, eight grandchildren. Two of the children Mrs. .Paul Greenwood of Mount Vernon, WA., and Frank Focher, Jr. of Ballantine, MT., are from a former marriage. Other children are Ed Focher, Albert Focher and Florence Focher all of Ballantine, MT., and Miss Rose Focher who is employed in Billings, MT. The body is at Smith's Funeral Home and will be taken to Ballantine for services. Interment probably Tuesday.
