Bio

For most of her life, she was called May. Her marriage record says May L Thompson married C M Bryan, December 19, 1910 in Collin County, Texas. Perhaps May evolved from Mary to avoid confusion, as her mother was Mary. Only in the last years did Mary appear on the records. Her stone says Mary as does her death certificate. I am not sure if she decided to use Mary, or if just happened, as it sometimes does, or if it was just an error from those giving the information. She was also named for her mother's sister Letha, who died young. For the moment she is May Letha, as the general consensus uses May L.
