Herald Coaster, May 23, 2003: Mary Ann Mikolas, 77, of Rosenberg, passed away May 22, 2003. Mary Ann was born Dec. 29, 1925 in Charlotte to Jake and Mayme Solomon. Services for Mary Ann will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2003, in the Stateroom of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home. She is preceded in death by husband, Leon Mikolas; parents, Jake and Mayme Russeau Soloman; and numerous brothers and sisters. Mary Ann is survived by children, Johnny Lee Mikolas and wife, Kim, of Needville, Jo Ann Duff and husband, Larry, of Angleton; grandchildren Bradley Mikolas, Johnny Lee Kizzar II, Steven Cahill II, April Mikolas, and Tracie Winkelmann; great-grandchildren, Steven Cahill III, Johnny Lee Kizzar III. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg. 281-341-8800.
