Bio

Dean Collins, 57, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Lake Charles, LA. Those left to cherish his memory are his two brothers and one sister-in-law; three sisters and one-brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Gladys Collins, and sister Vernice Betkey. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Burial followed at Smyrna Cemetery in Sugartown, LA. Rev. Tim Lee, Rev. Gary Bankson and Rev. Jerome Hayes officiated.
