Bio

He went by his middle name, Harold. In 1927, he married Mildred McCoy at Webster City. The couple farmed in the Woolstock area for 3 yrs., then farmed in Fremont Twp. and in 1944, they moved to Cass Twp. until he retired in 1986. They then moved to Webster City. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Mary Lou & Virgil Gordon, Webster City; son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Barbara Hemminger, Parker, Colo.; 6 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; and sister, Mildred Sollie, Callender. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred in 1986; Parents; sisters, Ruth Hupp and Aileen Hemminger, and brother, Herman.
