Bio

Della Curbo, 91, of Whitney, passed away July 2, 2013 in Hillsboro. She was born May 13, 1922, in Angleton, Texas, to George and Molley Noel Minix. She grew up in the Hill County area and married Willie Jim Curbo who preceded her in death on January 15, 1987. Sewing and cooking were her hobbies as well as her occupation as she was a seamstress for several years before working as a cook at Whitney Hospital for over 35 years. She was a member of the Whitney Church of Christ. Preceding her in death were her husband; infant twins; her parents; two sisters and four brothers; and son-in-law Jerry Turner. Funeral services will be held July 6, 2013 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.
