Bio
Rosenberg Herald Apr. 28, 1944 Funeral services for Pvt. Louis J. Sbrusch, age 23 years, were held from the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. CHarles Sbrusch in Rosenberg, and in the Beasley Catholic church. Rev. Jerome Tydlacka of Rosenberg, Rev. Doskical of East Bernard, and Rev. Morkovsky of Halletsville conducted the services. Interment took place in the Beasley Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors. A Squadron from Ellington Field served as pallbearers. The Rosenberg Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Pvt. Sbrusch was born in Fort Bend county, and made his home near Rosenberg before entering the service of his county. He passed away April 11, 1944, somewhere on the seas and his body was prepared for burial in San Diego, California by the Bonham Brothers Funeral Home and shipped to Rosenberg, arriving on April 17, 1944. Deceased is survived by his wife and one daughter, his parents, four brothers and one sister.
