Inez Hallmark Baker Inez Hallmark Baker, 91, a former Texas City resident passed away Saturday, December 15, 2007, in Galveston. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2007, at the Emken – Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Baker was born August 16, 1916, in Oenaville, Texas. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Mainland Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Baker. Survivors include her children; Betty G. Williams, Eddie C. Baker (Sue), Janet Gray (Revis), Arvie D. Baker (Sherry), J.D. Baker (Shirley), and Dr. Dorothy E. Baker (Kathryn Daily); sister, Edna McLerran; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
