Bio

LC Sweat, 81, a very loving, husband, father and grandfather, passed away, Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 3 p.m. in New Klondike Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Arlington Funeral Home. LC was born Oct. 6, 1931, in Klondike to DeWitt and Ury Sweat. He was a current member of Woods Chapel Baptist Church and resided at Waterford Residence. LC loved the Texas Rangers and early in life enjoyed basketball and skiing and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, and granddaughter, Jamie. Survivors: Son, David Sweat and wife, Rhonda, of Arlington; daughters, Cathy Casey and husband, Mike, of Joshua and Pat Kirby and husband, Jeff, of Arlington; grandchildren, Jeffrey Sweat, Michelle Azar, Jeremy Casey, Dusty Casey, Russell Kirby and Kyle Kirby; great-grandchildren, Alex Azar IV, Chandler Casey, Amber Casey, Sydney Pruitt and Landrie Casey.
