Bio

Married Dorothy Volf on April 22, 1954, at Ord, Nebraska. He grew up and went to school at Comstock, graduating in 1949. He and his wife farmed west of Comstock, later moving to a farm northwest of Ord. He was honored as an Outstanding Young Farmer of 1964. He went to barber college and in 1968, the family moved to Grand Island where he worked as a barber. He began working for a realtor in 1971 and eventually worked as a managing broker at Da-Ly Realty. Recognized as Realtor of the Year in 1993 in Grand Island. He was working as a realtor at the time of his death. Survived by wife, sons Bryan and Bruce; his mother, Nora, and two brothers, Marvin and Ray and a sister, Vivian Turek. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry and a brother, Dan.
