MONTICELLO— Ethel M. Rieken, 85, of 2626 George St., Logansport, died at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday in Logansport Memorial Hospital. Born May 15,1909, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Elmer and Estella Fulmer Burks. On Sept. 5,1930, she was married to Miney Rieken, who died Nov. 10, 1972. Mrs. Rieken, who had lived in Monticello 50 years, moved to Logansport 14 years ago. She was a member of Monticelio Christian Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-inlaw, Doris and Jack Meents, Monticello, and Ruth and Ernest Crane, Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers, Charles D. and William T. Burks, both of Logansport; two sisters, Gladys Todd, Logansport, and Josephine Robinson, Royal Center; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild. Five sisters preceded in death. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Arterburn officiating. Burial will be in Riverview IOOF Cemetery.
