Doris Aline McGlothlin Copeland Born in Virden, IL on Aug. 28, 1909 Departed on May 7, 2005 and resided in Hurst, TX. Visitation: Friday May 13, 2005 Service: Friday May 13, 2005 Cemetery: Bethlehem Cemetery Doris Aline McGlothlin Copeland, 95, a resident of Hurst for more than 50 years, passed from this earthly life on Saturday, May 7, 2005. She was born August 28, 1909 in Virden, IL, the youngest of four daughters born to Elizabeth Plowman McGlothlin and Charles Austin McGlothlin, a prominent farm couple of Central Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three sisters, Margaret Plowman McGlothlin, of Champaign, IL, Martha Elizabeth Wells, of Orange County, CA, and her twin sister, Dorotha A. Gibson of Auburn and Virden, IL. Mrs. Copeland was for several years active in Eastern Star, Richland Hills Lodge. Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, Leroy Copeland of Hurst; three children, Marilyn Gilbert and husband, Gary, of Lakeside, CA, Wayne Woolsey and wife, Karyl, of Pollock Pines, CA, and her eldest son, Charles Woolsey and wife, Mary Lou, of Brunswick, MD; step-daughter, Delores Dodge of Hillsboro; seven grandsons; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
