Bio
George Washington Price was the oldest child of James L. Price and Martha Ann Tabitha Ray. He was born in Bibb County, AL. He married Parilee O. (Pally) Honeycutt 11 August 1848 in Autauga County, formerly Bibb. They moved immediately to Lauderdale County, MS, where they raised a family of 10 children, all of whom lived to adulthood. George W. Price enlisted in the Civil War serving as a Private in Company F, 13th Miss. Infantry. He fought in many battles, including Gettysburg, where he was wounded. lived the rest of their lives in the Toomsuba area of Lauderdale County, MS.
