MO d/c 9597 (Contributor: Pam Witherow) Mrs. E .S. Matteson Dies at Paris Funeral arrangements for Mrs. E. S. Matteson, wife of the county farm agent of Monroe County, who died early this morning, had not been completed this afternoon, according to advices from Paris. The funeral hour will be decided upon after the time of arrival of Mr. Matteson's parents is known, it is said. Mrs. Matteson, 37 years old, died her home in Paris at 1:30 o'clock after a few days sickness. She is survived by her husband, four sons and two daughters, E. F. Matteson, James Matteson, Fred Matteson, Alexander Matteson, Betty Matteson and Helen Matteson. S. Matteson, wife the county extension agent of Monroe County, who died early yesterday, will be held, at 10 o'clock Friday morning from the Paris Christian Church. Mrs. Matteson was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, but the Christian Church building here is larger and was chosen for that reason. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
