Bio

Herald Coaster, April 8, 1986: Funeral services for Herman H. Nichter, 67, of East Bernard, were scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville. Officiating the service was the Rev. George Kuebler. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Nichter died Sunday in Sugar Land. Survivors include his wife, Ann Nichter of East Bernard; son, Ronald Nichter of Santa Fe; daughters, Gay Nell Psencik and Judy Talasek, both of Rosenberg; step-sons, Robert Duncan of Needville and James Duncan of Virginia; step-daughters, Sheila Hicks of Enid, Okla. and Delores Fincher of Queen City. Nichter is also survived by brother, Benton Nichter, and sister Carolyn Kaluza, both of Fairchild, and 15 grandchildren.
