KILBOURNE, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Louanne May, age 63, of Kilbourne, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Kilbourne United Methodist Church in Kilbourne, Louisiana. Reverends Doctor Curtis Carroll, Jeff May, and Bill Carter will officiate. Interment will follow in the Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Born in Winnsboro, LA on Jan. 12, 1950 Louanne passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Louanne was a member of the Kilbourne United Methodist Church. She was self-employed as a beautician for 44 years. Her hobbies were her family and serving others. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Lamar Carter, Sr. and Ethel Irie Bacle Carter. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald Ray May of Kilbourne; her daughter, Cindie May of Little Rock, Arkansas; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa May of Bastrop, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, James and Lydia May of Eros, Louisiana; son, Bobby May of Monroe, Louisiana; brother, William "Bill" Carter, Jr. of Victoria, British Columbia. She is survived by her grandchildren: Presley May of Bastrop, Louisiana; Sheridan May of Bastrop; Grayson May of Bastrop; Maggie May of Eros, Louisiana; and Tyler May of Eros. Pallbearers are: Ken Owen, David Turnage, Austin Huffty, Mark May, John A. Tullos, and Lenard Best. Honorary Pallbearer is Don Murray. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2013 between the hours of 5 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
