Bio

ERASTUS D. TRYON Erastus D. Tryon passed away at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. A. P. Foss, in this city Monday evening at 8:15 as a result of a complication of diseases resulting from old age, aged 81 years. The funeral services were held yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon at two o'clock from the Foss home. Rev. Charles H. Miller, pastor of the M. E. church, officiated and interment was made in Woodville cemetery. The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. E. Webber of this city and Mrs. A. J. Sommers of Winona; two sisters, Mrs. N. B. Tuthill of Minneapolis and Mrs. S. Perry of Sioux City, Iowa; two brothers, Jacob W. Tryon of Faribault and Ira Tryon of Farmington. There are also seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Waseca Herald 2-21-1924
