Bio
Requiem Mass was celebrated for John J. Krajca at 2 p.m. Sunday December 12, 1965 in St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Botik as the celebrant. The rosary was recited in Keever Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: George, Johnnie and Raymond Spaniel, Joe L. Novak, Billy Vitovsky and Ronnie Vitovsky. Mr. Krajca, who died Friday morning, December 10, in a hospital in Corsicana, was born in Ellis County, near Crisp, December 28, 1902, the son of John and Frances (Pavolek) Krajca. January 10, 1928 he was married to Julia Zissa of Shiner and they made their home in the Telico and Creechville community where Mr. Krajca engaged in farming, retiring in 1964 because of ill health. He was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church and the Catholic Workmen. Surviving him are his wife; one son, Johnnie I. Krajca of Ennis; four granddaughters; his mother, Mrs. Frances Vitovsky of Ennis; brother, Jerry Krajca of Ennis; one sister, Mrs. John Spaniel of Ennis; two half brothers, Bill Vitovsky and Louis Vitovsky, both of Ennis; and four half sisters, Mrs. Louis Novy of Houston, Mrs. Joe Zabojnik of Dallas, Mrs. Edward Kriska and Mrs. Johnny Santos, both of Ennis.
