ZIMOLA FUNERAL IN WAHOO Wahoo, Feb. 2 - Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Simodynes Zimola, 92, a resident of Saunders County 61 years, were held from the St. Wenceslaus Catholic church here Wednesday, conducted by the Very Rev. M. Nemec. Mrs. Zimola, with her husband Thomas Zimola, came to Wahoo from Kouty, Bohemia, in 1874 and settled on a farm 2-1/2 miles west of Wahoo where their only son, John, still resides. They retired from farming and came to Wahoo where Mr. Zimola died in April, 1927. Besides the son, surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frank Dvorak, of Wahoo; Mrs. Jos. Koudele, West Point; Mrs. Anton Kralik, of Colon; also one brother John Simodynes of Weston; and two sisters, Mrs. John Prokes of Schuyler; and Mrs. John Dolezal, Wahoo; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Burial was in St. Francis cemetery.
