Alma Jewel Ridgeway Marshall News Messenger Thursday, June 6, 2013 MARSHALL — Graveside services for Alma Jewel Ridgeway, 81, of Longview, Texas, will be 10 a.m. Friday, June7, 2013, at Piney Cemetery in Harleton, Texas, with the Rev. Kenneth Mills officiating. Ms. Ridgeway left this world for her Heavenly home June 4, 2013, in Longview. Alma was born November 6, 1931, to Allie Bertie "Buddy" Ridgeway and Bertha Effilee Jones. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Harleton, Texas. She was an avid reader of novels and the newspaper. She also loved solving crossword puzzles and visiting with her family. Ms. Ridgeway is survived by her children and their spouses, David and Carol Smith of Bacliff, Texas, Wanda and Eric Seivley of Harleton, Texas, Jo and Randall Clowers of Longview, Texas, and Lewis and Nita Smith of Rogersville, Tennessee; and sister and her husband, Betty Jane and Kelly Thomas Arnold. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Ms. Ridgeway was preceded in death by her father and mother; five brothers; and daughters, Lois Faye Smith Wilson and Judy Wileen Smith Cogswell. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today, June 6, 2013, at Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall.
