Bio

Age 87 years, 11 months, 11 days. Daughter of Willard (sic, but wrong) and Lorenza (Howes) Mann, according to her marriage record. (Her brother, b. 1849, was Willard C. Mann, who m. Hattie L. Winslow.) Widow of Stephen L. Newton, b. ca 1844, b. Southborough, son of Stephen and Jane (Bacon) Newton. He was a fish dealer in 1870, when they lived in Waltham, MA. They were married 01 Jan 1868 in Ashburnham, MA. She had four children, and three were still living in 1910, Elmer (b. 1869), Arthur E.(b. 1874) and Mabel (b. 1875, m. Clarence W. Chamberlin, 1901 in Worcester). Susan was a widow by 1900 when her three children were living with her in Worcester. In 1880, she was married and lived in Boylston with her three children, but Stephen S. Newton was not enumerated with the family.
