Bio
Billie Larita Schwantz died on May 30, 2013, in Lubbock, Texas, at the age of 82. Originally born in Winnsboro, Texas on June 21, 1930, she moved to Lubbock in 1950. She married Richard Schwantz on May 18, 1953. Together they raised three boys. She was a skilled seamstress, and though there were other jobs through the years, it was that job of seamstress she continued until the very end of last year. Her death is mourned by her sons, Randy and Gary Schwantz, and their wives; her eight grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1998 and her son, Kenneth, in 2011. Visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 9 to 11 a.m. in Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
