The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), March 29, 1992, p. 2C, col. 2 Services for James Sajtl conducted here March 22 Services for James Sajtl of David City were conducted Thursday morning, March 22, from St. Mary's Church, David City. Mr. Sajtl, 77, died Monday, March 19, at David Place. Members of the American Legion, VFW and Knights of Columbus attended in a body. Pallbearer were Frank Sabata, Gary Polacek, Clarence Krenk, Emil Eret, Ray Kucera and Gene Coufal. Burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Bruno. James Sajtl, the son of Cyril and Victoria Mazanec, was born Nov. 18, 1912, at Bruno. He lived in the Bruno and David City areas most of his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, David City, the Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II. His parents preceded him in death.
