Funeral Services for Frank J. Styskal, 88, of David City were conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church Friday, April 26, with the Rev. Richard e. Sladky officiating. Mr. Styskal died at the David City Hospital Wednesday, April 24.''Serving as pallbearers were Ed Styskal, Rudy Styskal, Richard Styskal, A.E. Warholoski, Herman Stevens and Anton Osmera. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Relatives from out-of-town attending the services were Mrs. Emily Merchant of Wahpeton, ND, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Rezac of Wahoo, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Treblik of Lodgepole, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sabata and Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Zitek, Mrs. Lawrence Lee and Mrs. Henry Strauch of Lincoln. Mr. Styskal was born in Butler County, Sep. 14, 1879. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Styskal. On Oct. 25, 1905, he was united in marriage to Josephine Treblik in St. Mary's Church in David City. The couple lived on a farm near Appleton for 12 years before moving to an acreage at the north edge of David City in 1917. In 1966 they moved into an apartment in David City. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving him are his wife, Josephine and a sister, Mrs. Lillian J. Miller of David City. He was proceeded in death by his parents and four sisters.
