Bio

Married Emma Tennie Stephens 5 July 1896 in Colorado Co.Tx. After they married they moved to Matagorda Co.Texas. They had 13 children. Story is told that William came to Texas when he was 3 months old. His Mama held him in her lap as they crossed the river at St. Francisville. La. In the last years of his life he lived with his sister,Lula Mae Lloyd in Harris Co. Texas.
